KAFIR: GERBANG SUKMA

Kafir: Gerbang Sukma is the official sequel to the 2018 Indonesian horror film Kafir: A Deal with the Devil (Kafir: Bersekutu dengan Setan). It continues the story eight years after the tragic supernatural events depicted in the first film, expanding its themes into deeper psychological and spiritual horror after Herman’s death caused by black magic, Sri attempts to rebuild a normal life with her daughter Dina, while Andi has started a new family with his wife Rani. Their fragile peace shatters when Sri receives news that her mother is critically ill. Returning to her rural hometown, Sri is forced to confront a dark secret from her past—one tied to forbidden spiritual rituals. The buried sin begins to manifest as terrifying supernatural events that threaten her family’s lives and sanity.
