ESCAPE FROM THE OUTLAND

Foreign correspondent Ma Xiao and his partner Pan Wenjia, a volunteer doctor, accompany engineer Miao Feng to the suburbs to repair a base station. When the local situation suddenly deteriorates, all three are kidnapped by an extremist organisation. While imprisoned, they meet Zhou Weijie, an overseas Chinese businessman. Together, the four must find a way to survive and escape amid brutal warfare and chaos.
