After missing the chance to say goodbye to her dying mother, musician Wang Pingxin breaks ties with her father and leaves her home in Sarawak behind. Years later, the sudden death of her fiancé leaves her not only grieving, but also responsible for a young boy—his son from a previous marriage. To repay mounting debts, Pingxin reluctantly agrees to join a reality show that takes her back to the place she once swore she'd never return. There, she discovers her father is now battling dementia.
